247 Creative is delighted to announce that the first phase of development of The Birthday Site has gone live.
The Birthday Site allows users to create stunning online greetings for their friends and family – these can be customised through an extremely easy-to-use system, and notifications can be sent to recipients via email, or SMS text messages. Users can set up birthday greetings eCards, but that’s not all as the site will also allow for cards to be delivered to celebrate weddings, births, anniversaries and many other special occasions.
A range of exciting functionality is available to users, such as the ability to set up and edit address books to store recipients’ details – and future developments will include the addition of greetings downloadable as screen savers, celebrity greetings, gift ordering, personalised calendars and much more.
The site has been constructed using industry-standard best practices, including fully W3C valid XHTML and CSS coding, and a powerful PHP and MySQL back end system.
